Here we go then.
DrumTrek Global hits the ground running…well walking pretty slowly actually.
I left the Glasgow flat I have been ‘sitting’ for the lovely Dr Jane Bentley and headed via bus to Edinburgh airport and the rather plush Moxy Hotel, where after a nice meal and a bit of footy on the telly, I of course had myself a wee dram to settle in for the night.
There followed a pretty poor night’s sleep due to the air conditioning system whining away in the background. Of course it might have been the butterflies who had taken up residence in my stomach or the sense of stepping across a threshold that this journey holds for me!!
2018 has been a year of transition in so many ways with amazing things happening professionally and some big challenges in my personal life. Here I am now stepping out to greet and play with my Global Rhythm Family. I’m looking forward and carrying my somewhat bruised heart in a cradle of hope.
It is hugely exciting and I believe the path I must follow now to bring myself fully home again to me. I think there was a clue stowed away in my luggage.
So to the glamour of international travel. Here I sit waiting in Costa at the Airport for my transfer to Heathrow where I will wait again for my flight to Hannover. Here I am in full concentration mode writing this Blog.
So afore I go from this airport to the next one, how about some travel inspiration?
